Updates to Bias Mitigation Model
Detecting Bias Across Multiple Protected Classes and Job Categories

We’ve made two recent updates to our bias mitigation model. First, we now have the ability to analyze data that intersects multiple protected classes. For example, instead of considering data related to, say, race alone for any given candidate, our model now considers the unique set of data that intersects the candidate's race, ethnicity, and gender.
Secondly, we are now able to evaluate potential bias relative to individual job categories based on the U.S. Department of Labor’s ontology of occupational characteristics and worker requirements. The impact of these updates is the reduction of disparity across different opportunities from entry level to senior level positions.
Arena Analytics Portal Quick Apply Dashboard Now Supports Applicant Resumes

When our clients talk, we listen! We’ve implemented a much-requested feature that allows clients to access applicant resumes in the Arena Analytics Portal Quick Apply Dashboard. Applicants can simply attach their resume when applying to jobs through the Talent Discovery Platform. If they subsequently apply to multiple jobs, their resume will automatically attach itself to each listing. Once that’s done, you can easily download the resume from the Quick Apply Dashboard.

Search, Sort, Browse, Filter

The Arena Analytics Portal just got a facelift! We replaced the Talent Management with the new Application Dashboard, where you can see, sort, and search all applications across multiple job requisitions. Browse basic name and contact information, prioritize new applicants by their Retention Prediction (Likely hires help boost retention!), and even send candidates reminders to complete the Arena experience by email or SMS.
The Arena Analytics Portal is designed to be a feature-rich alternative to your Applicant Tracking system that prioritizes the hiring of candidates who are predicted to have a positive impact on your company’s staffing trends.
Talent ReDiscovery
Match Past Talent with Current Open Jobs

We’re pleased to announce the first official release of Arena Analytics Talent ReDiscovery, a solution designed to help rediscover past un-hired applicants and match them to new, hard-to-fill jobs where they will stay. Arena will run branded nurture campaigns targeting this audience rescued from your Applicant Tracking System, and actively nurture qualified candidates to apply to your open jobs.

Column Order & Default Sort Order Update

We pinned the 'Date Applied' field directly adjacent to the pinned columns on the left side of the grid so users can more quickly sort and prioritize candidates in the order in which they applied.
In addition, we changed the default sort order to 'Date Applied' so that the most recent applications appear at the top of the list.

A new menu item in the Account drop down has been added linking to Arena's Release Notes page. User facing improvements to the Portal will be summarized here for all releases going forward.
